See what the product information is based on.
Lighting specifications rely on product data that can be difficult to verify — from photometric files to single-number performance figures. VALONI publishes luminaires that have been through Complite’s independent review, with key values shown alongside their source and supporting evidence.
Matching figures do not tell the whole story.
Two luminaires may show the same output, lifetime or IP rating while differing in how those values were established, what product configuration they describe and which conditions they cover.
A datasheet gives you the figures. Understanding their basis helps you judge whether they are relevant to your specification.
CONVENTIONAL PRODUCT INFORMATION
The datasheet gives the values. The marketing material makes the claims.

Follow the value back to its source.
A VALONI profile keeps each key value connected to where it came from, what it describes and the evidence available behind it.
-
A value may be declared by the manufacturer, projected from component information, measured on the complete luminaire or supported by third-party certification. Its origin remains visible rather than being reduced to a single unqualified figure.
-
The profile connects information to the relevant product, variant or configuration and shows the context available for interpreting it.
-
Sources and review outcomes are dated, so the information can be read in the context in which it was established.
Not a grade.
Not another mark.
VALONI does not score, rank or award products. The evidence is the read.
Lighting data needs more than a number.
The usefulness of technical data depends on how it was established and whether it represents the luminaire you are actually specifying.
Photometric files and performance values are more useful when their source, test basis and applicable product configuration are clear.
Photometric information
A value measured from the complete luminaire is not the same as one projected from an LED module, driver or other component. VALONI keeps that distinction visible.
Complete luminaire or component data
Test configuration, operating conditions and the product variant can affect how a value should be interpreted. VALONI keeps the available context connected to the information it supports.
Conditions and configuration
Give your specification a defensible basis.
Use the profile to identify the product characteristics, sources and supporting evidence that matter to your design.
When an alternative is proposed, the reviewed profile gives you a traceable reference for explaining which characteristics formed the basis of the original specification and which of those characteristics should be preserved.
VALONI does not decide whether an unreviewed alternative is equivalent.
The specification decision remains yours.
Products published on VALONI have been independently reviewed by Complite. Verified means that the review is complete and conformity is supported for every applicable regulatory framework within the reviewed scope.
The review is dated and evidence-based. It is not product certification, a quality grade or confirmation that Complite has independently re-measured every stated value.
Independent review behind every published product.
